The 6th Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival to be held virtually

The 6th edition of the Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival (CCLF 2021) will be held in a new virtual format and feature some of the most prominent children’s authors, illustrators and storytellers, who will provide a great platform for children to discover the pleasure of reading. .

Dikshant School, in association with the Adab Foundation – a non-profit organization focused on promoting art and culture, is organizing CCLF-2021. Mitul Dikshit, President of Dikshant Schools & Adab Foundation, said: “The long-awaited sixth edition of the festival will see a diverse set of activities for children. The fiesta will begin with a Shabnam Minwalla session on August 14, we will have sessions every month until February 2022. Interactions with the authors will aim to stimulate children’s imaginations. In addition to virtually meeting their favorite authors, kids can also participate in interesting interactions during panel discussions, story sessions, writing / illustration workshops, film screenings, to name a few. only a few.

The new virtual format will see the festival run for 8 months until February 2022. The festival features more than 20 top authors, who will host sessions for children aged 3 to 16. Some of the prominent and award-winning authors participating in the festival are – Ranjit Lal, Anita Roy, Paro Anand, Devika Cariapa, Vibha Batra, Nandini Nayar, Sandhya Rao and Lavanya Karthik among others. Also participating is international author Evan Purcell from Kazakhstan, creator of the Karma Tandin: Monster Hunter series.
