International sculptors and plastic artists participate in the La Vista International Sculpture Symposium at the NAC

CAIRO – October 21, 2021: The new administrative capital will host the La Vista International Sculpture Symposium, with the participation of 20 of the world’s most qualified sculptors and first-class visual artists.

The participating artists come from Germany, Italy, Romania, Russia, Kosovo, Georgia, Ukraine, Serbia, New Zealand, Kosovo, Spain, Costa Rica and Macedonia, in addition to Egyptian artists.

The symposium began on October 15 and will run until November 3 in La Vista City, the new administrative capital.

Visual artist Mohamed Hemida, founder of Ostraka Arts and organizer of the La Vista International Sculpture Symposium, said the symposium encompasses different schools of sculpture from marble, huge blocks of stone, scrap metal and stainless steel. .

Hemida pointed out that the participants visited tourist attractions in Cairo, as well as the Great Pyramids of Giza, historic Cairo and some Egyptian museums.

In addition, Hemida confirmed that the La Vista International Sculpture Symposium, organized by the new administrative capital, includes a tourist program for participating artists to visit Egyptian tourist attractions, and a prize is awarded to the 3 best works of art.

According to Hemida, many participating artists completed their work in various capitals and cities around the world.

Ostraka Arts had previously organized the world’s largest sculpture symposium and established a museum and world gateway in the Hurghada Tourist Gateway in 2018. They were also responsible for the beautification of Al-Sadaqa Square in Sharm el-Sheikh .

The closing ceremony and opening of the exhibition will take place on November 3 for the completed works and models, and participating artists will be honored.
